Privacy Policy

Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.cewe-consult.at.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors write comments on the website, the data displayed in the comment form is collected, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the user-agent string (which identifies the browser) to help detect spam.

From your email address, an anonymized string of characters (also called a hash) can be created and passed to the Gravatar service to check if it is being used. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of the comment.

Contact forms

If you contact us as a website operator through the contact options offered, your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and answer your enquiry. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Cookies

When you write a comment on our website, this may be a consent to store your name, e-mail address and website in cookies. This is a convenience feature so that you do not have to re-enter all this information when you write another comment. These cookies are stored for one year.

When you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only refers to the article ID of the article you have just edited. The cookie expires after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Contributions on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, pictures, articles etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These sites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking services, and record your interaction with that embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged on to that site.

Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. The resulting data is used to optimise our website and advertising measures.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States). Google processes the data for website use on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the confidentiality of the data processed.

During your website visit, the following data, among others, is recorded:

  • Accessed Pages
  • Orders including the turnover and the ordered products
  • Your behaviour on the pages (for example clicks, scrolling behaviour and dwell time)
  • Your approximate location (country and city)
  • Your IP address (in abbreviated form, so that no clear assignment is possible)
  • Technical information such as browser, Internet provider, terminal device and screen resolution
  • Source of your visit (i.e. via which website or advertising medium you came to us)

This data is transferred to a Google server in the USA. Google complies with the data protection regulations of the “EU-US Privacy Shield” agreement.

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that allows you to be recognized on future visits to the site.

The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated User-ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form for an unlimited period.

If you do not agree with the collection, you can prevent this by installing the Browser-Add-ons to deactivate Google Analytics.

Google Maps

We use Google Maps of the company Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on our website.
By using the functions of this map, data is transferred to Google. You can find out which data is collected by Google and what this data is used for at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

How long we store your data

If you write a comment, it will be saved including metadata for an unlimited time. This way we can automatically detect and release follow-up comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have regarding your data

If you have an account on this website or have written comments, you can request an export of your personal data from us, including all data you have provided us with. In addition, you can request the deletion of all personal data that we have stored about you. This does not include data that we are required to keep due to administrative, legal or security necessities.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments could be examined by an automated spam detection service.
